Our own personal experiences with wealth management frustrated us. It’s taken decades for us to find the right advisors, the right education, and the right tools to feel empowered enough to manage our wealth in a way that meets our goals.

We realised that there was a need among women wealth holders to gain more insight into managing their finances, find a community, and strengthen their knowledge around investing.
The Beam is a safe space for women to connect and share their experiences and their journey towards
a more empowered approach to their wealth management.

Bertha Morales
Co-Founder
Based in Madrid
Bertha is an entrepreneur and investor passionate about using capital as a force for good and backing ventures that expand access to opportunity. With a background in the creative industries, she brings a global perspective and a deep belief in collaboration and purpose-driven leadership.
Originally from Mexico, she now lives in Madrid with her husband and two sons.
Currently, Bertha is one of the co-founders of The Beam Network, a private financial education platform and global community for women of significant wealth, empowering one another to lead with confidence, invest with purpose, and shape a better world.
Michelle Yue
Co-Founder
Based in Milan
Michelle is an investor, philanthropist and entrepreneur passionate about helping women and girls fulfil their potential to change the world. She is Co-Founder and Chair of The Millby Foundation which has a strategic focus on driving opportunities for adolescent girls to uplift the next generation of change-makers. Michelle also serves on the Board of the Freedom Fund and is an advisor to the Robert HN Ho Family Foundation. A long-standing member of Women Moving Millions, Michelle is also a member of Forward Global, an international association of philanthropists tackling today’s biggest problems. Originally from Vancouver, Michelle lived in Hong Kong and London before recently relocating to Milan. She is a proud parent to two young adults and one very stubborn Catalan Sheepdog.
Fuelled by her own financial journey, Michelle founded The Beam Network to revolutionise how individuals manage their wealth – providing women with the knowledge and holistic support to achieve financial control with clarity and confidence.
Ana Morales
Co-Founder
Based in London
An activist and strategic philanthropist, Ana,
has worked for over 20 years in violence
prevention, education, and poverty
eradication, with particular emphasis on Latin-
America. She is a Founding Member of
Maverick Collective, an initiative to transform
the lives of women and girls around the
world and lift them out of poverty. Ana is also
a Board Member of Glasswing International,
a non-profit organisation that addresses the
root causes of poverty and violence. Born in
Mexico, Ana currently lives in London with
her husband and daughter.
The Beam was her response to creating a
space that she saw was void and to help
others looking for that safe, nurturing and
inspiring community.

Alba was born in Barcelona, Spain, and has lived in London since 2015, where she completed her studies. Her background is in the creative and fashion industries. Alba has been part of The Beam Network since its early days, contributing to its brand development and strategic growth. The network’s mission of uplifting and supporting women deeply resonates with her, and she’s passionate about creating spaces that foster connection, collaboration, and growth among members.
Juana Urrea
Americas Lead
Based in New York
Juana was born and raised in Medellín, Colombia, and has lived in New York City since 2015. She is part of the third generation of her family’s textile business, which has been operating for over 70 years. Her professional work centers on building community and mobilizing resources to advance social and environmental justice across the capital spectrum. A passionate supporter of the arts, Juana can often be found at one of New York City’s many museums and theater productions.

Elina Teboul
Executive Coach
Based in London
Elina is a highly experienced executive coach with a background in investment management, psychology and law. She holds a B.A. in economics from New York University, an M.A. in psychology from Columbia University, a J.D. in law from Columbia Law School, and coaching certifications from the Columbia Coaching Certification Program and the International Coaching Federation. With a passion for social entrepreneurship, Elina has served as a global philanthropic project adviser for the Allan & Gill Gray Foundation and currently mentors young creatives as a member of the Soho House community.

Drawing on her legal expertise and psychological training, Elina has created an innovative course on “Positive Lawyering" and has authored a forthcoming book, “Feminine Intelligence," on how women can leverage their strengths and values to create impact. With her personal background as a mother and spouse in a family investment office, Elina brings a unique perspective and empathy to her role as coach for The Beam Network's Cornerstone Coaching Pilot.
Tuti Scott
Executive Coach
Based in Greater Boston
Tuti B. Scott is a facilitator, coach, and strategist focused on equity, justice, and gender lens philanthropy. A certified fundraiser for 15 years and interim CEO twice, Tuti authored Giving with a Gender Lens and Moving Money for Impact. She coaches leaders, writes about women’s sports and values-aligned investing, and facilitates workshops on activating money with an equity lens. A lifelong learner and former basketball point guard, Tuti has been an advocate for women’s sports since 1975.

She has advised Women Moving Millions, facilitated events for the Women’s Funding Network, and worked with leaders like Geena Davis and Billie Jean King. At the Women’s Sports Foundation, Tuti’s team raised $70 million to advance equal access to sports. She served on the Tides board for a decade, driving asset and impact growth, and contributes to initiatives like Invest for Better, Nia Impact Capital, and How Women Invest. Tuti is also the creator of Women&Money.

Wendy Wacksell

Wendy Wecksell is the founder of WxL Partners and creator of The EQ of Wealth®, teaching wealth-owners how to navigate the emotional and relational dimensions of impact, family, and legacy. Her work has driven significant capital to global challenges, including raising $100M in two days for climate solutions.

Wendy brings her lived experience with inheritance and entrepreneurship, having built trusted relationships with investors, principals, and founders over 20 years. She is a 21/64 Certified Adviser with Level 3 Gottman Method Couples Therapy certification and Oxygen Advantage Functional Breathing training. Wendy understands both the sacrifices required to build something meaningful and the unique emotional landscape that shapes how wealth owners lead, connect, find purpose, and take action.

Dr Nicky Black
Managing Director & Global Head
Based in London
Dr. Nicky Black is a global leader in sustainability, economic empowerment, and impact strategy. With over 25 years’ experience, she has advised brands like Chanel and De Beers, and worked with CEOs, boards, and international member organisations to build trusted, impact-driven communities. She holds degrees from Oxford University, McGill University, and a PhD in Strategic Management, and serves as a trustee of the Institute for Human Rights and Business (IHRB).
Anna Levin
Head of Learning & Corporate Development
Based in London
Anna is a former investment banker who structured and marketed debt and credit derivatives on the derivatives marketing desk on the trading floor at JPMorgan as well as debt origination and debt derivatives sales on the debt capital markets desk on the trading floor at Nomura; she’s got over 10 years track record in customer facing roles for industry-leading financial institutions in several sectors of the financial services industry. After a parental career break, she has done financial advisory consulting and completed the Chartered Insurance Institute Awards in Financial Planning and Investment Planning. Anna holds an MSc in Economics and Finance fromWarwick Business School and a BSc in Finance, Economics and Mathematics from Stockholm University.
Aunnie Patton Power

Aunnie Patton Power is a former investment banker, turned impact investor and university lecturer. She is the founder of Intelligent Impact, a technology for a social impact advisory firm, and has worked with start-ups, family offices, foundations and corporates. She is currently an Associate Fellow at the University of Oxford's Saïd Business School and a visiting fellow at the London School of Economics.
